SMART PARTNERSHIP

The SMART Partnership is a concept based on the principle that "any economy is an integral whole with the general infrastructure, business process and social responsibilities all supporting each other". It is based on a deliberate policy of co-operation with Government, the private sector, labour, academia and media, aimed at transforming a country into a WINNING NATION." Smart (Partnership) stands for objectives which when pursued are Sustainable, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely.

SMART Global 2001 was held in Munyonyo, Uganda in August 2001.
